Deirdre Ní Chearbhaill appointed general counsel at Vmo Aircraft Leasing
Deirdre Ní Chearbhaill has joined San Francisco-headquartered aircraft leasing company Vmo Aircraft Leasing as its general counsel, based in Dublin.
Ms Ní Chearbhaill has nearly two decades of experience working alongside various stakeholders in the aircraft leasing industry in negotiating and executing complex aircraft transactions, as well as leading and growing a cross-border team.
She is a qualified solicitor and started her aviation career with McCann FitzGerald. Most recently she was a co-head of transaction legal at Avolon, with responsibility for the execution and delivery of the company’s trading and financing transactions.
She holds a Master’s in telecommunications and space activities law from the University of Paris-Saclay, France, and a Master’s in European and international law from the University of Bremen, Germany. She has a bachelor’s in law and German from Trinity College Dublin.
