Dentons to take up office space on Kildare Street
Global law firm Dentons is set to upgrade its presence in Ireland after signing a 15-year lease for 19,000 square feet of office space at 20 Kildare Street in the centre of Dublin.
The firm, which has been working from Joshua House on Dawson Street since launching its Dublin office two years ago, aims to be in the premises by the end of the year, the Business Post reports.
Eavan Saunders, Ireland managing partner, told the newspaper that the renovated 18th-century Georgian townhouse is “chic” and provides “the best of both worlds” with its links to historic Dublin and renovation to modern standards.
Dentons recently announced the appointment from September of Karyn Harty, currently a partner at McCann FitzGerald, as head of litigation in Ireland.
Earlier, in May, the firm appointed three new partners in Dublin — energy and projects lawyer Colm Ó hUiginn and corporate lawyers David McGuinness and Michael McDonald.
