DWF appoints Ross Little as executive partner in Dublin
Commercial and insurance law firm DWF has announced the appointment of corporate partner Ross Little (pictured) as the new executive partner of its Dublin office.
Mr Little, who joined DWF from William Fry in April, will take responsibility for leveraging the firm’s network of UK offices and international capability to drive growth in the Irish market and raise the firm’s profile in the region.
He will also take an active role in business development activities and people management in Dublin.
The firm has said it also has “a number of high-profile appointments in the pipline” who will join the Dublin office over the coming months.
Commenting on his appointment, Mr Litle said: “DWF has been operating in Dublin for many years and is now looking to increase its focus on investment and growth in the region.
“There is an opportunity here for us to increase our capacity, expand our service offerings, particularly across commercial services, and establish some ambitious, strategic growth objectives for the benefit of our clients.”
Andrew Leaitherland, managing partner and CEO, added: “Dublin is undoubtedly a competitive market but as one of only a handful of top UK firms to have an existing office in the region we are confident that the post-Brexit landscape will be in fact be advantageous for us, as we leverage our strong, and growing, international network of offices to provide a cohesive, cross-border service to our UK and Irish clients.
This investment reflects DWF’s increasingly international outlook; in 2015 the c2,300 strong firm, which operates from 12 locations across the UK and Ireland, opened its first international office in Dubai and has since launched offices in Brussels, Cologne and Munich.”
