Emilia Lye and Chong Zheng Yang win QUB Novice Moot 2022
Law students Emilia Lye and Chong Zheng Yang have won the Queen’s University Belfast Law Society’s annual novice moot for 2022.
Ms Lye and Mr Yang went head-to-head against Ru Xin L. and Chin Yeoh and emerged as winners.
The best advocate award also went to Ms Lye, and the winning team won the award for best skeleton argument as well.
The competition was judged by Gary Adair, partner at Wilson Nesbitt; barrister Joseph O’Keeffe; and Dr David Capper, Reader at QUB School of Law.
