Eoghan Murphy and Lord Jonathan Hill to address Brexit briefing
Ireland’s minister of state with responsibility for financial services, Eoghan Murphy, and former EU finance commissioner Lord Hill of Oareford will address a Brexit briefing hosted by Dublin firm Matheson in London this Wednesday.
Lord Hill was the UK’s EU commissioner for financial stability, financial services and the Capital Markets Union from 2014 to 2016.
The event will focus on strategies to manage the business costs and disruptions which will be incurred by the financial services industry as a result of Brexit, with an emphasis on the banking and investment services, insurance, investment funds and fintech sectors.
Members of Matheson’s dedicated Brexit Advisory Group will provide expertise and insight for attendees with respect to Brexit planning and the importance of the Ireland–UK relationship after Brexit.
