The DCU Brexit Institute has increasingly pivoted towards work on European affairs in recent years, including by leading major projects on the future of Europe funded by the European Commission and the German Ministry of Education and Research.

GSK Stockmann will support its core activities, including its research and policy work on the relations between the EU and the UK post withdrawal and the future of Europe more generally.

Professor Daire Keogh, president of DCU, said the new partnership is “a tangible reflection of the international character of the Institute and its contribution, through engagement and scholarship, to the analysis of post-Brexit Europe”.

Professor Federico Fabbrini, professor of European law and founding director of the Brexit Institute, added: “The multi-annual partnership with GSK Stockmann, which builds on prior opportunities of cooperation and a solid relations of trust, is a confirmation of the growing role played by the Brexit Institute as a European hub for research and policy on EU affairs post-Brexit.”
