Eversheds Sutherland relaunches LGBT+ staff network
Eversheds Sutherland recently invited a representative of LGBT+ group OUTstanding to its offices for the re-launch of Perspective, the firm’s employee network for LGBT+ staff and supporters.
The firm said the network aims to offer a forum for all of its employees to learn more about LGBT+ issues, as well as to support LGBT+ colleagues in their work life.
In a statement, it said it “firmly believes that all employees perform best when they bring their whole selves to work, without exception” and that an employee’s “gender, sexuality, race or religion should not have a bearing on their ability to enjoy a successful and rewarding career”.
Ori Chandler joined Eversheds Sutherland staff for a lunchtime discussion about OUTstanding, a professional network for LGBT+ executives and their allies. He talked about the benefits of the firm’s membership of OUTstanding and the work they do internationally.
