Family lawyer Ken Breen has joined human rights firm KOD Lyons in Dublin.

Mr Breen brings over 25 years of experience to the firm, having qualified as a solicitor in 1995 after graduating from the University of Limerick.

He has considerable experience advising, representing and guiding clients on many areas of law and business with a particular emphasis on family law and relationship breakdown and dispute resolution. He has a particular expertise in divorce, judicial separation, custody/access matters, maintenance, relocation and co-habitation matters.

Mr Breen has advised and represented clients in numerous cases and contentious litigation featuring complex financial and commercial structures and often with cross-jurisdictional issues.

Managing partner John O’Doherty told Irish Legal News: “Stress associated with the pandemic and the pressures associated with same has seen increasing demands on families. Family law itself has also seen massive statutory reform in recent years and there is a need for more reform.

“In that context we have worked hard to ensure that KOD Lyons has first class child and family law practitioners who are leaders in their field.

“Ken Breen joins us with extensive experience in sensitive family law cases and family dispute resolution. He joins Marion Campbell, Gareth Noble and Matthew de Courcy in providing a comprehensive team focused on the rights and needs of children and families.”
