FLAC promotes Ingrid Colvin to national volunteers and clinics manager
Legal rights group FLAC has announced the promotion of Ingrid Colvin to national volunteers and clinics manager.
Ms Colvin takes up the newly-created post just over a year after her appointment as volunteer and clinics co-ordinator.
In her new role, she will have overall responsibility for the FLAC volunteer team while continuing to work with local Citizens Information Centres (CICs) and supporting FLAC’s volunteer legal advisors.
Prior to joining FLAC, Ms Colvin has managed projects in the area of restorative practice, youth justice and the prevention of sexual offending.
She is a Restorative Justice practitioner and trainer with a particular interest in the areas of serious crime and sexual violence, has managed volunteer-involving projects, and has volunteered herself both locally and internationally as a human rights observer in a conflict zone.
