Flynn O’Driscoll tops Irish M&A rankings
Flynn O’Driscoll LLP advised on more M&A deals last year than any other Irish law firm, according to a new report.
The latest report from Experian’s M&A monitor division, MarketIQ, reveals that the business law firm advised on 90 of the 766 transactions which took place in the busiest ever year for M&A in Ireland.
The total volume of deals in Ireland rose by 15 per cent on the previous year, though the total value fell to €73 billion from €96 billion in the previous year.

The second-busiest adviser after Flynn O’Driscoll was A&L Goodbody, which advised on 79 deals. Matheson advised on 55 deals, Arthur Cox on 54, Wallace Corporate Counsel on 50, Beauchamps on 47, William Fry on 40, McCann FitzGerald and Philip Lee on 31, and Eversheds Sutherland on 30.
