This year’s conference is focused on domestic abuse and will celebrate the organisation’s work over the last year as well as outlining its plans and ambitions for the year ahead.

Ms Edgar, partner with responsibility the firm’s divorce and family law department, will speak about her legal experience of cases involving domestic abuse throughout her practice.

She said: “I was delighted to have been asked by Belfast & Lisburn Women’s Aid to speak at their Annual Conference.

“I have worked alongside the organisation for many years and I have witnessed the transformation of the lives of countless women supported by them. I will continue to champion the organisation both as a legal professional and as a woman to continue to highlight the issue of domestic abuse in today’s society.”
