Ms McLaughlin heads the firm’s dedicated Alternative Legal Services (ALT) office and has overseen its expansion from 19 fee earners in 2011 to over 240 lawyers, technologists and legal analysts today.

She is one of 26 new partners appointed from 1 May 2020 in the firm’s largest global round of promotions since 2012.

Ms McLaughlin is the second partner appointed in the firm’s ALT practice, following the first such promotion in 2017.
