NI: HHD promotes Lauren Jones to associate solicitor
Belfast-based Higgins Hollywood Deazley (HHD) Solicitors has announced the promotion of litigation lawyer Lauren Jones to associate solicitor.
Ms Jones joined the firm in 2013 following her graduation from Ulster University with a first class honours degree in Law with Criminology, before obtaining her postgraduate diploma in professional legal studies with distinction at Queen’s University Belfast in 2015.
As a member of the firm’s litigation department, she specialises in medical and dental negligence, personal injury litigation and historical institutionalised abuse litigation, acting for plaintiffs in both the High Court and the County Court.
She has served on the committee of the Northern Ireland Young Solicitors’ Association (NIYSA) since 2016 and was its secretary in 2018 and 2019. She is also actively involved in the Antrim Road Business Association.
Commenting on her appointment, partner Fiona Sterritt said: “Lauren is a valued member of our team who brings a caring approach, organised manner and depth of knowledge to all her cases.
“I have enjoyed working alongside Lauren as she deals with our clients following catastrophic or life changing injuries in a sensitive and approachable way. Our clients are in good hands with Lauren as their solicitor.
“We are delighted that Lauren will be moving to the role of associate solicitor and help to drive the ongoing growth and future of our firm.”
