Holmes O’Malley Sexton launches new Cork office headed by John Ringrose
Holmes O’Malley Sexton Solicitors (HOMS) has announced the opening of its new Cork office, with plans to hire 10 staff members in the coming months.
Partner John Ringrose, who joined the firm in 2006, has been appointed to head up the new office.
The law firm, which has offices in Dublin, Limerick and London, first revealed its plans to expand into the south of Ireland in July.
Speaking at the opening of the Cork office, managing partner Harry Fehily said: “As Ireland’s fastest growing city and region, Cork is an important base for our firm and where we already has a significant client base.
“With a very experienced team in the new Cork office, headed up by partner John Ringrose, we are positioned to deliver best in class legal services for business and corporates that serve local and international markets from this region.”
Mr Ringrose said: “We expect to increase headcount in the coming 18 months at the Cork practice, where new team members will work alongside our experienced and established firm partners from both the Dublin and Limerick offices.”
Tánaiste and Foreign Affairs Minister Simon Coveney added: “Holmes O’Malley Sexton have a very strong reputation in Ireland and their presence in Cork will undoubtedly lead to more professional opportunities for graduates in the years ahead.”
