Holmes O’Malley Sexton staff present €6,800 to charity Headway Ireland
Staff at Holmes O’Malley Sexton presented a cheque for over €6,800 to charity partner Headway Ireland to help fund its new “Wellness Vault”.
Headway provides services and support to victims of brain injury and their families to help them on their road to recovery to live their best life.
Nearly 50 people at the law firm ran and walked for Headway Ireland in the 2019 Regeneron Great Limerick Run.
Partner Robert Bourke and solicitors Sarah Falvey, Rachael O’Shaughnessy and Sean Fitzgerald visited the charity’s office in Limerick to hand the cheque to Headway CEO Kieran Loughran and rehabilitation manager Rella Galvin.
Mr Bourke said: “Working together as a team is integral to us at Holmes O’Malley Sexton, and the Regeneron Great Limerick Run is also particularly important to us every year as a national, yet Limerick based, event.
“This year, we wanted to support Headway Ireland for the incredible work they do, and many of us in the office have seen the remarkable work supporting people affected by stroke or brain injury.”
Mr Loughran added: “It is fantastic to have such a large, well established and reputable organisation rooting for us and supporting us to continue to deliver specialist rehabilitation services to people with acquired brain injury in the Mid-West Region.”
