HOMS Solicitors staff to raise charity cash at Great Limerick Run
Almost 50 staff members at Holmes O’Malley Sexton Solicitors are preparing to take part in the Regeneron Great Limerick Run this Sunday.
Staff from the firm’s Limerick office will be running and walking to raise cash for Headway Ireland, the brain injury charity with national headquarters in Limerick.
A spokesperson for the firm said: “Working together as a team is integral to us at Holmes O’Malley Sexton, and the Regeneron Great Limerick Run is also particularly important to us every year as a national, yet Limerick based event.
“This year, we wanted to support Headway Ireland for the incredible work they do, and many of us in the office have seen the remarkable work that they do to support people affected by stroke or brain injury.”
Rella Galvin, rehabilitative services manager at Headway, said: “Headway are delighted to have HOMS onboard as our charity partner.
“It’s fantastic to have such a large, well established and reputable organisation rooting for us and supporting us to continue do deliver specialist rehabilitation services to people with acquired brain injury in the mid-west region.”
She added: “The funds raised by Holmes O’Malley Sexton on behalf of Headway will help us to deliver vital therapeutic services to those affected by brain injury, to help them lead their best life.
“In addition to this, by wearing the Headway t-shirt on the day, HOMS will increase awareness of Headway and brain injury in the mid-west.”
