Over 250 solicitors attended the Law Society of Northern Ireland’s annual conveyancing conference at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Belfast.

Now in its fourth year, the conveyancing conference has become a staple of Northern Ireland’s legal calendar.

This year’s conference covered current issues of importance and relevance to solicitors who undertake conveyancing transactions.

Speakers included Madam Justice Denise McBride and solicitors from some of Northern Ireland’s leading independent firms, including Alan Reid of Murlands Solicitors; Gilbert Nesbitt of Wilson Nesbitt Solicitors; Brian Speers of CMG Cunningham Dickey Solicitors; Darren Rainey of Hunt Solicitors; Nigel Thompson of Moore Stephens (NI); and Anne Skeggs of Mills Selig Solicitors.

The conference also heard from John Baxter of Law Society Financial Advice Ltd, and Sam Dickey, a representative from RICS.
