ILN reporter Conor Courtney named Law Student of the Year

Irish Legal News’ Northern Ireland case reporter Conor Courtney has been recognised as Law Student of the Year at the Dye & Durham Irish Law Awards 2023.
Mr Courtney recently completed an LLM focused on international commercial law at University College London (UCL) and is now training as a solicitor with Eversheds Sutherland in Dublin.
He joined the ILN team in September 2021 and contributes regular reports on judgments from the Northern Ireland courts. He was previously awarded a merit certificate at the Justice Media Awards 2022 for his reporting.
Speaking after the awards ceremony, Mr Courtney said: “It was a pleasure to represent the Law Society of Ireland.
