Authors Séamus McIlroy BL and John Mackell BL were joined by family, colleagues and members of the judiciary at an official launch event at Law Society House last week.

This book is the first practitioner’s guide of its kind for the Youth Court in Northern Ireland and has been hailed as an important guide and essential reading for all practitioners in the field.

A foreword by Mr Justice Kinney highlights that youth court procedure is a “complex subject”, and the book is “well organised in structure and logical in its approach” allowing the reader “to identify areas of interest quickly and efficiently”.
