#InPictures: DLA Piper partners meet with Lord Mayor of the City of London
Top lawyers in DLA Piper’s Dublin office have met with the Lord Mayor of the City of London – himself a partner at DLA Piper in London – to discuss opportunities to strengthen economic ties between the UK and Ireland.
Alderman Vincent Keaveny, who was born and raised in Ireland, was elected as the 693rd Lord Mayor of the City of London in 2021. He was in Dublin this week to meet with government, business leaders and entrepreneurs.
He was welcomed by David Carthy, DLA Piper’s country managing partner for Ireland, financial services head Conor Houlihan and financial services partner Kate Curneen.
The Lord Mayor acts as an international ambassador for the City of London and the UK’s financial and professional services industry.
