#InPictures: Dublin event tackles key issues for international arbitration

International experts were warmly welcomed to Ireland for the 12th annual Dublin International Arbitration Day on Friday.

Arbitration Ireland president Paul McGarry SC welcomed attendees to Ireland’s leading conference on international arbitration.

Panels dealt with topics including the intersection between arbitration and criminal law, the apparent demise of the Energy Charter Treaty, privilege and human rights.

Attorney General Rossa Fanning SC addressed the event, reaffirming the government’s recognition of and continuing commitment to facilitating arbitration.
