#InPictures: Maynooth team wins Karen Kenny Memorial Moot Court Competition

Maynooth law students Adam O’Carroll and Brian McMahon triumphed in the recent final of the Karen Kenny Memorial Moot Court Competition 2023.
The annual intervarsity competition is organised by Trinity FLAC Society, with last month’s grand final being adjudicated by Ms Justice Una Ní Raifeartaigh of the Court of Appeal and Professor Gerry Whyte of Trinity College Dublin School of Law.
Amy Murray and Scott Dunne of Technological University Dublin came in second place.
The moot question, drawn up by Kyle Egan, focused on Irish language rights at trial and reasonable access to a solicitor.
