#InPictures: KOD Lyons team smashes €4k charity cycle fundraising target
A hardy team of lawyers from Dublin firm KOD Lyons have smashed their €4,000 fundraising target after completing the Ring of Kerry Charity Cycle 2022.
The five-man team of partner Matthew De Courcy, solicitors Eoghan O’Sullivan and Ken Breen, legal assistant Vincent Doherty and intern Cian O’Sullivan took on the 170km challenge to raise funds for Cúnamh Iveragh and Down Syndrome Kerry.
Cúnamh Iveragh is a group of parents, families and friends of people with intellectual disabilities of all ages living in the South Kerry area. Cúnamh Iveragh supports these intellectually disabled people in whatever way possible to improve the quality of their lives and the lives of their families.
Down Syndrome Kerry’s goal is to help people with Down syndrome to make their own futures as bright and independent as possible by providing them with education, support and friendship every step of the way.
Writing on LinkedIn, Eoghan O’Sullivan said: “We were delighted to have raised money for two very worthwhile charities through our 170km cycle through the sun, wind and rain!”
The team is continuing to welcome donations through Gofundme.
