A spokesperson for the firm said: “At the beginning of the night, we were inspired and in awe of a talented singer who found himself homeless. He shared his heartbreaking story but had a happy ending thanks to the help he received from Focus Ireland. These are the stories that highlight the amazing work that Focus Ireland do.

“The night was a cold one, and we really got to experience what is like to have nothing but a sleeping bag and the clothes on their back to keep you warm at night — they don’t! Waking up the next morning, all we wanted was a nice warm cup of tea to get some warmth into our bones.

“Reflection was also an important part of the experience and a time when you can stop and appreciate just how lucky you are to be going home to a hot shower and cosy bed.

“With the help of our friends, family, clients and suppliers we have been able to contribute a massive €10,000 to help continue the crucial services they Focus Ireland offer. Giving back is a huge part of our ethos at McKenna & Co and we are so very proud of the team for taking part and also for their fundraising efforts.”
