Staff at the Public Prosecution Service (PPS) have received training to help improve their awareness and understanding of hate crimes motivated by transphobia.
Aisling Twomey, LGB&T advocacy officer for The Rainbow Project, facilitated the training session last week.
Ms Twomey is pictured above with Marianne O’Kane, head of the PPS’s serious crimes unit.
