#InPictures: Trinity College Law Review hosts first in-person launch since Covid
The 25th edition of the Trinity College Law Review was launched by Mr Justice Peter Charleton of the Supreme Court at the prestigious student-run journal’s first in-person event since 2019.
In his remarks and foreword to the journal, Mr Justice Charleton raises a range of reforms he says are necessary to halt the unnecessary prolonging of trials and consequent impacts on the quality of justice. He also notes the range of contemporary issues tackled within Volume XXV, from digital currency and music sampling to abuse of cyberspace.
The editorial board of Volume XXV said they were “delighted to receive a range of engaging submissions covering challenging areas of law and publish an outstanding range of articles” and thanked all of those who supported the journal across the past 25 years, particularly patron sponsor Arthur Cox.
Every article of Volume XXV is currently available on HeinOnline, with availability on WestLaw and LexisNexis forthcoming. Physical copies of the journal may be purchased through the Review’s website.
Meanwhile, Hugh Gallagher has been named as editor-in-chief for Volume XXVI, with Isabelle Carr-Healy and Samuel Carthy as managing editors.
In a statement, they said: “We are thrilled to assume leadership of Volume XXVI of the Trinity College Law Review. Having celebrated 25 years of the Review, we are excited to continue and further the outstanding reputation that past Editorial Boards have established.
“We are looking forward to opening submissions for our print edition at the start of the academic year, and would invite all interested parties to do so.”
