#InPictures: Ulster University hosts legacy law debate
Ulster University Law School yesterday hosted a “discussion and debate” with Sir Declan Morgan on the UK government’s controversial legacy law.
Sir Declan, the former lord chief justice of Northern Ireland and chief commissioner of the new Independent Commission for Reconciliation and Information Recovery (ICRIR), appeared with victims’ campaigner Raymond McCord.
“This discussion opened a fascinating walk through both the controversial Legacy Act and the composition of the recently formed Commission,” the law school said.
“Thanks to all those who attended and in particular to the families of the victims who spoke eloquently on their experiences.”
