Mr Cahir, who heads the insolvency and corporate restructuring team at Beauchamps, was appointed to lead the professional organisation during its recent conference in Dubrovnik, Croatia.

INSOL Europe is “the go-to professional organisation for lawyers, accountants, financiers, academics and other professionals interested in the field of restructuring and insolvency”, he told Irish Legal News.

Writing on LinkedIn, Mr Cahir said: “l will do my very best to continue the evolution and professionalisation of our INSOL Europe organisation, all the time seeking to enhance the membership experience.”
