John Fyffe
Retired Northern Ireland resident magistrate John Fyffe has passed away.
Mr Fyffe was admitted to the roll of solicitors in 1958 and began his legal career in his family firm in Omagh, Co Tyrone before joining the Department of the Director of Public Prosecutions in 1972.
In July 1980, he was appointed as a resident magistrate, serving in a number of petty sessions districts until his retirement in July 2005.
The Law Society of Northern Ireland said it “offers its deepest condolences to his family, colleagues and friends”.
