NI: John J Rice & Co appoints Paul Dougan as director and welcomes new assistant solicitors
Belfast firm John J Rice & Co Solicitors has announced the appointment of Paul Dougan as a director, together with James Hanna and Sarah Symington as assistant solicitors.
Mr Doughan has been with the firm since 1997 and advises clients in matrimonial disputes, personal injury litigation, inquest representation and judicial review. He is also serving his second term on the Council of the Law Society of Northern Ireland.
Mr Hanna joined the firm as a trainee in 2015, while Ms Symington has newly joined following her apprenticeship with the firm in September 2018.
Mr Hanna works in the areas of civil litigation, criminal defence and judicial review, while Ms Symington will practice in the firm’s criminal defence and family law teams. She is interested in immigration law and is already challenging several Home Office deportation decisions.
