John O’Doherty appointed vice-chair of National Gallery

KOD Lyons managing partner John O’Doherty has been elected as vice-chair of the National Gallery of Ireland.
Mr O’Doherty, a prominent criminal defence solicitor who also chairs the Law Society’s criminal law committee, has served on the National Gallery’s board of governors and guardians since 2019.
He will serve under chair Mary Keane, a qualified barrister and former director-general and deputy director-general of the Law Society.
Writing on LinkedIn, Mr O’Doherty said: “I look forward to working with my fellow directors on the board of governors and guardians along with Mary Keane and executive director, Dr Caroline Campbell.”
