Keystone Law appoints NI construction lawyer to London office
Keystone Law has appointed Northern Ireland construction lawyer Ronan Speers to the firm’s construction team in London.
Mr Speers joins from Systech Solicitors, where he was a group director then partner, and has impressive international experience in both contentious and non-contentious construction matters.
He has spent more than 20 years building relationships with and acting for funders, developers, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and construction professionals in the transport, oil and gas, energy, utilities, infrastructure, communications, civil engineering and construction sectors across Europe, the Middle East and Far East.
Based in London for many years, Mr Speers knows the GB construction sector particularly well and has advised and represented many Irish and Northern Ireland developers, contractors and sub-contractors active in the thriving GB market.
Originally admitted in Northern Ireland, he divides his time between Northern Ireland and London, where he now practises.
James Knight, managing director and founder of Keystone, said: “Ronan will be a significant asset to our Construction practice as the team continues to grow, in response to the increasing number of instructions we are receiving from both established and new clients.
“Ronan’s experience with Northern and Republic of Ireland clients will only further strengthen our offering.”
Mr Speers added: “I am delighted to have joined Keystone’s growing and experienced Construction team. I have no doubt that many of our NI and ROI construction clients, who are active in the GB market, will benefit from the full range of services that Keystone offers.”
