King’s Inns gifts legal books to Malawi Courts Service
The King’s Inns has gifted copies of important recent legal publications to the Courts Service of Malawi.
Áine Hearns, Ireland’s ambassador to Malawi, handed the books over to Andrew K.C. Nyirenda, the Chief Justice of Malawi.
A spokesperson for the King’s Inns told Irish Legal News that Renate Ní Uigín, the librarian at the King’s Inns, was the “prime mover” in the initiative, with support from the Department of Foreign Affairs.
The Department is a “keen supporter” of international rule of law initiatives, the King’s Inns said.
