King's Inns Law Review invites submissions for Volume XI

The King’s Inns Law Review (KILR) has invited submissions for Volume XI, which marks the student journal’s return to print for the first time since the start of the pandemic.

Articles are welcomed from all areas of legal academia and practice, in English or as Gaeilge, on the broad theme of “Judicial Ethics and Independence”.

Original articles should be 4,000–12,000 words in length, including footnotes. Case notes of 3,000–6,000 words, including footnotes, are also invited for consideration.

Manuscripts should be double-spaced and in 12-point font, with no identifying details. All submissions must be formatted in the OSCOLA style.

Authors are requested to only submit their full name, institutional affiliation, and contact details in the body of their submission email.

Submissions to Volume XI, or any related queries, may be addressed to kilr@kingsinns.ie. The deadline for submissions is the end of Sunday 3 March 2024.

KILR is an annual peer-reviewed law journal published independently by the diploma and degree students of the King’s Inns. Its core purpose is the promotion and fostering of legal scholarship, both in King’s Inns and the wider legal community across Ireland, Europe and further afield.
