KOD Lyons to host seminar in conjunction with Commission on the Future of Policing

Dublin firm KOD Lyons will host a seminar this month for legal practitioners and members of the judiciary to discuss policing reform.
The event, held in partnership with the Commission on the Future of Policing, will be chaired by Dr Geoffrey Shannon, special papporteur on child protection, who recently authored a comprehensive audit of Garda child protection practices.
Kathleen O’Toole, chair of the Commission on the Future of Policing, will open the seminar.
Coleen Gildernew, senior associate at KOD Lyons, told Irish Legal News: “We are delighted to host this important event. We are hoping that the seminar will assist the Commission in progressing their work and will afford the legal community an opportunity to share its insights and ideas on future policing arrangements.”
