NI: Law graduate Aisha Rob wins LLM dissertation prize
Belfast law graduate Aisha Rob has been awarded a prize for her LLM dissertation on how transitional justice can address statelessness.
The annual dissertation prize is awarded by the Northern Ireland Human Rights Commission for the highest LLM dissertation mark at Ulster University’s Transitional Justice Institute (TJI).
Ms Rob’s dissertation is titled Transition by Boat: No State for Justice? Transitional Justice for Statelessness in Pre-Transitional Zones.
Her dissertation evaluates the extent to which transitional justice can address statelessness in pre-transitional zones, examining the potential adaptation and application of the field to the Rohingya crisis in particular.
