The Law Society of Northern Ireland’s Mentoring Programme continues to go from strength to strength as it enters its fourth successful year.

Around 150 individuals have been mentored over the last three years by a community of approximately 50 trained Mentors - with many Mentees reporting significant personal gain and professional success through their mentoring relationships.

This year, the programme has again proven very successful with an increase in applications to be mentored.

Such is the demand that the Society are looking for additional mentors to sign up to support the programme.

Imelda McMillan said: “We are delighted by the huge response to the programme this year and we want to ensure that everyone signed up has a dedicated mentor

“I would encourage my colleagues to contact us and consider becoming a mentor for 2017.

“Mentees are the profession of the future and sharing their considerable skills, knowledge, experience and insight is hugely beneficial to the building of that future.”

The Society is asking possible mentors to contact Susan Duffy, CPD co-ordinator, on susan.duffy@lawsoc-ni.org.
