Law Society of Northern Ireland to host charity film night
The Law Society of Northern Ireland is hosting a screening of My Cousin Vinny at Crumlin Road Gaol later this year to raise funds for charity partner Include Youth.
The event on Thursday 7 September will include an hour-long tour of the jail before the ’90s classic — lauded by lawyers for its accurate depiction of criminal procedure and trial strategy — is screened at 8pm.
Tickets are available for £30 via Eventbrite, with funds to be raised for the Law Society’s chosen charity partner, Include Youth.
Established over 40 years ago, Include Youth is an independent organisation which actively promotes the rights, best interests of and best practice with young people with care experience and young people from disadvantaged communities.
The charity influences public policy and policy awareness in the areas of youth justice and education, employment, and training of young people.
