John Guerin, the President of the Law Society of Northern Ireland, has challenged his colleagues to raise money for charity CLIC Sargent.

Solicitors, barristers and members of the judiciary have been invited to take part in the CLIC-A-Thon event on Thursday 9 June 2016, which will see teams of up to three people compete to see who can travel furthest on stationary bikes.

The funds raised will go to CLIC Sargent, the UK’s leading cancer charity for children and young people.

Mr Guerin said: “I am challenging my colleagues right across the legal profession to undertake this special event by overtaking their colleagues to secure the furthest distances travelled in an hour.

“We hope that colleagues, staff and their families will come along to lend support and help raise as much money as possible for this fantastic charity on the day. We are delighted that First Title are sponsoring the event.”

Teams of up to three can enter for a £75 fee.
