Ms Feron, a third year student at Queen’s University Belfast School of Law and co-chair of the Women in Law Society, is heading to Montreal after securing a scholarship from Belfast City Council.

The annual One Young World Summit convenes young leaders from more than 190 countries and 250 organisations, working to accelerate social impact.

Ms Feron said: “I am really looking forward to participating in the Summit’s four transformative days of speeches, workshops and networking, while being counselled by influential political, business, and humanitarian leaders.

“I am also extremely excited to share the learning and outcomes of The Harmony Project with this global network to potentially extend the global outreach of this social cohesion programme.”
