Law students collecting Christmas gifts for Direct Provision families
A group of students at the King’s Inns are collecting Christmas gifts for children and families in Direct Provision centres in Dublin.
A fundraising appeal has been launched by the students in conjunction with the Movement for Asylum Seekers in Ireland (MASI).
MASI, in conjunction with the Bang Bang café in Phibsboro, plan to deliver the gifts to children from Direct Provision centres at a special Christmas event in Bohemian Football Club on Saturday 14 December.
Donations can be made via Gofundme or by handing in gift cards with a minimum value of €20 at the reception in the King’s Inns Library Building on Henrietta Street.
The deadline for donations is before 5pm on Thursday 12 December 2019.
