LawCare nominated for grant worth up to £8,000
Lawyers’ mental health charity LawCare has been nominated for a grant worth up to £8,000 from the new Wesleyan Foundation.
The Foundation has been newly set up by Wesleyan, a specialist financial service provider for lawyers, to support good causes across the UK.
A public vote is being held from now until 20 December to determine how much funding LawCare and other charitable causes will win.
Victoria Wentworth, Wesleyan’s chief customer officer, said: “As a mutual, we are committed to making a positive impact in all we do. One of the ways we intend to do this is through our new Wesleyan Foundation, designed to focus on supporting good causes across the UK, particularly those that are important to our customers.
“We have nominated LawCare as a charity that can create change with the right level of support.”
Elizabeth Rimmer, CEO of LawCare, added: “This is very exciting news, as a grant would really make a difference to our work.
“We need those votes so please click on the link and vote for LawCare now! Every vote counts so do also spread the word. The more votes we get the more support we will receive.”
