Lawyers recognised at Irish Law Awards 2021
Some of Ireland’s top lawyers have been recognised at the Irish Law Awards 2021, with this year’s winners named at an in-person ceremony in Dublin’s Clayton Hotel.
Mr Justice Michael Peart, who retired from the Court of Appeal bench just over two years ago, was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award.
Dublin lawyer Bill Holohan SC of Holohan Lane, who last year became one of the first solicitors to be named as senior counsel, won the overall Lawyer of the Year award.
Reddy Charlton won the overall Law Firm of the Year Award.
Philip Lee claimed the prize for top corporate/commercial law firm, while the top accolade for criminal firms went to Michael Hennessy Solicitors. Anne O’Connell Solicitors was named the top employment firm.
Keith Walsh SC was recognised as the overall winner in the family law category, which was sponsored by Brewin Dolphin.
Richard Grogan & Associates Solicitors won the Excellence & Innovation in Client Service award, sponsored by Ormond Meeting Rooms.
Hatstone (Ireland) LLP, established in April through a take-over of Tully Rinckey Ireland, was named International Law Firm of the Year.
