The ninth annual competition is taking place in Oxford, England from 20-29 July 2025.

The previous contest took place in Sri Lanka in January 2024, with teams from Sri Lanka, England, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan as well as a combined Commonwealth team involving players from Australia, New Zealand and other Commonwealth countries.

The Cricket Club of the Lawyers of Ireland has said it is “assembling a squad of players drawn from the branches of the profession, north and south (and lawyers based abroad) and would welcome expressions-of-interest from players, supporters and indeed anyone who would like to find out more about the tournament”.
