Leading firms support Dress for Success on IWD
Many of Ireland’s leading law firms organised events in support of Dress for Success Dublin to mark International Women’s Day yesterday.
Arthur Cox, A&L Goodbody, ByrneWallace, Eversheds Sutherland, McCann Fitzgerald and DWF were among the firms taking action to support the not-for-profit initiative, which aims to promote economic independence of women by providing them with career development tools and a support network.
Legal firms had been encouraged to organise events in support of the initiative to mark International Women’s Day on 8 March.
Fashion stylist, designer and tech entrepreneur Sonya Lennon, founder of DFS Dublin, said she was “delighted with the number and calibre of businesses supporting our #WoMenAtWork campaign”.
ByrneWallace staff organised a clothing collection and coffee morning, while A&L Goodbody held a five-person panel discussion.
The panel included Ms Lennon and other special guests.
