Lewis Silkin moves to new Belfast HQ
Commercial law firm Lewis Silkin LLP has combined its two Belfast premises into a new office based on Linenhall Street.
The new headquarters replaces the firm’s offices on Lombard Street and Ormeau Road, a legacy of the two local mergers which helped the firm to establish its base in Northern Ireland last year.
Lewis Silkin began operating in Belfast in 2021 when it joined forces with employment law specialist Jones Cassidy Brett. The firm later combined with media, tech and IP practice Forde Campbell in January this year.
The firm’s Belfast team now comprises a total of seven partners and 28 legal professionals and staff.
Ciara Fulton, partner and head of the Belfast office, said: “It’s been just 12 months since Lewis Silkin began operating in Northern Ireland, and the past year has been a tremendously exciting time for us.
“Our team has grown significantly in this short space of time, and our move to a new office is a natural next step to accommodate both this rapid expansion and the greater range of services we now offer.
“Bringing together our team under a single roof, we are now better positioned than ever to help businesses across Northern Ireland navigate issues related to employment law, business immigration, commercial, IP and data, technology, and media law.”
The launch of Lewis Silkin Northern Ireland followed the opening of its Dublin office in 2018.
