Lewis Silkin promotes Linda Hynes to become second partner in Dublin
International law firm Lewis Silkin LLP has announced the promotion of Linda Hynes to partner, making her the second partner in the firm’s recently-opened Dublin office.
Ms Hynes joined Lewis Silkin’s Dublin office on its opening in March 2018 as a managing associate, advising on all aspects of employment law.
Prior to joining the firm, she headed up an employment practice in a boutique Dublin firm advising on contentious and non-contentious employment law, compensation and benefit matters, as well as dispute resolution.
Previous to this, she worked in-house at an international drinks manufacturer in Ireland where she also advised on employment matters.
In addition to her employment practice, Ms Hynes is also a certified data protection practitioner advising on data protection compliance, breaches and international data transfers.
Two lawyers, Geraint Lloyd-Taylor and Gavin McNaughton, have also been promoted to partner in Lewis Silkin’s London office.
Commenting on the appointments, Ian Jeffery, partner and chief executive at Lewis Silkin, said: “It’s with great pleasure that we welcome Linda, Geraint and Gavin to the partnership. All three have different backgrounds and have taken varying routes to the partnership but are united by their talent as lawyers and in their commitment to clients, which is second-to-none.
“I look forward to seeing their continued contributions to the firm’s growth as we go from strength to strength in the UK and internationally. These promotions, coming from Dublin as well as London, are a testament to the strength of the individuals across all of our offices.”
