Limerick law lecturer invited to Brazil for international congress

A law lecturer from Limerick recently participated in an international congress in Brazil alongside colleagues from Catalonia and Portugal.
Dr Kathryn O’Sullivan of the School of Law at University of Limerick was invited to the UniCesumar in Maringá, where she delivered a paper on family law in Ireland and met with local university representatives.
Lecturers from the University de Barcelona, the Universidade de Lisboa and the Universidade de Coimbra also participated.
The School of Law at UL will welcome a team of law students from UniCesumar in January 2018 for a Winter School in Family Law.
The team will be led by Professor Luiz Geraldo do Carmo Gomes, a former visiting scholar at the School of Law at UL.
