Magic circle firm Linklaters names co-leaders of Dublin office
Magic circle firm Linklaters has named London-based partners Nicole Kar and Richard Cumbley as the co-leaders of its new Dublin office.
Ms Kar currently heads the firm’s UK antitrust and foreign investment team, while Mr Cumbley is its global head of technology, media and telecommunication (TLT) and intellectual property (IP) law.
The pair will work out of both the London and Dublin offices, Linklaters confirmed to Irish Legal News.
A spokesperson for Linklaters said the new office is “an extension of the EU law advice we already provide from both our London office and our many regional offices in Europe”.
“The purpose of the new office is to give lawyers in specific practice areas the opportunity to practice as dual-qualified lawyers for the benefit of our clients while still working closely with our global network in Europe,” they added.
