Mason Hayes & Curran appoints two new partners
Mason Hayes & Curran (MHC) has appointed two new partners in its real estate and asset finance divisions respectively.
Jamie Fitzmaurice has been promoted from senior associate to partner within the real estate team, while Daniel Kiely, who joined the firm in 2010, has been appointed as a partner with a focus on aviation within the asset finance and leasing team.
Mr Fitzmaurice has broad experience in acting for vendors, purchasers and financial institutions in relation to the acquisition, disposal, financing and leasing of commercial, residential and mixed use multi-tenanted properties.
He is also a member of the retail team and has acquired specialist knowledge in the areas of landlord, tenant and planning law. He advises prominent multinational and domestic retailers on all aspects of property transactions including agreements for leases, turnover agreements, licences for works and applications for landlord consent.
Mr Kiely focusses on aviation and advises international corporates, financial institutions, export credit agencies, lessees, lessors and airlines on all aspects of cross-border asset financing and leasing.
He has obtained an extensive knowledge of the aviation industry having completed secondments with an operating lessor in Shannon, Ireland and also with the National British Export Credit agency in London where he advised on the export credit agency supported financing of Airbus aircraft.
He has also lectured in banking and aviation law in the Law Society of Ireland.
Both Mr Fitzmauirce and Mr Kiely will be working from MHC’s Dublin office.
